We had to cut or Lapine trip short because I picked up a stomach bug somewhere. it was a good thing I brought a container in the truck on the way home. That is one trip I will never forget! It looks likes the rain's back for awhile. Have a good weekend everyone

Birthdays

Wow another year has come and gone. Thanks to everyone for wishing me a good one. A year ago there was so much uncertainty for me, I didn't know what I had and wondered if I'd see another fall and winter. God is good and I am still here and find that there is a reason for my being here. Thank God my brother Greg's still here and improving. And what a miracle that all 33 miners in Chkle were rescued. They never lost faith in God and worked together, and to Amereicans and others who helped them.

New Pictures

First here's a picture of Me, Dad and Alice at the Polish Festival.

Next is from Thursday, I took a drive up the Columbia Gorge. I have had this itch to go there, so I satisfied it. This is at Wahkeena falls.Wahkeena means "most beautiful" in Yakama Indian. Just as beautiful as I remember it. We used to go there a lot when  we lived in Parkrose. I used to take the kids and their friends up there. And we would picnic there as a family.
