Hillsong - Hosanna (High-Quality)
Today is Palm Sunday, a week before Easter and the day we celebrate Jesus's triumphanal entry into Jerusalem, exactly one week before His resurrection (Matthew 21:1-11). About 400-500 years earlier, the prophet Zecariah had foretold of his coming: (Zechariah 9:9)
"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey”
A week later he would lay down his life to save us from our sins. We are so blessed to have a God who loves us and wants to be with us for all eternity.
Love, Cathy

"Trust Jesus"
I was driving around running errands this morning and thinking about every thing that's happening in our society; some events which are so troubling. Then the thought came to me, God is in control. No matter what happens here, it's nothing compared to his power. Good will overcome evil. Then I looked at the car in front of me, on the rear window was a bumper stciker that said "Trust Jesus." It's amazing the way things happen during the day, sometimes these get ignored. There's a peace that comes with knowing what you believe and trusting God.

Our Kids
Both Alicia and Ryan completed their classes with flying colors. I'm glad they are looking beyond retail to some sort of career. Mary, tell Alan not to worry about me.There are alot of poeple much worse off. I know he has a very caring heart. Les has me on some supplements that he's read about. I was hesitant to have a blog because I would dwell to much on me, well that's what's happened. So I'll try to have more about the kids and life in general.

Susan Boyle Wild Horses NEW SINGLE first CD HD
This is the first single from her first album "I Dreamed a Dream", "Wild Horses" is a cover from the Rolling Stones sung beautifully by Susan Boyle who sang a live version of the song on American's Got Talent final. They laughed at her when she first stepped on stage on Britians Got Talent, till she started singing, then jaws dropped. Never judge a book by it's cover! I'll have to go back and see how other people performed this song. But I think Susan's singing is amazing!

Get off my butt and do something!
I was at Kaiser today checking in for a breathing test today (they want a comparison to one previous one.) I looked to my right and there was a man in a wheelchair, hooked up to a ventilator and a computer to communicate with. I don't know for sure what he had, I think it was ALS. I felt so guilty at that moment that my legs and arms work and his don't. It struck me how important it is for us as a society to try to find a cure. Then I wondered who was with him, his wife or daughter; and how do they cope with what each day brings. Then I thought about how much people do suffer in this life. But believers know that in Heaven we will have new perfect bodies, the old one will be gone. And that our suffering is nothing compared to what Jesus went through. I was reminded about how temporary this body is. I wanted to go over and say something, but couldn't think of the right words. There are some fund-raisers coming up, Les and I will participate in this ALS fundraiser
