Some days are like that, I have had those days. Having a positive mental attitude is so important. A good night sleep seems to be key for me and my mood. Susan Boyles Christmas cd is out and I have it, of course. Love that lady. Here's one of the songs off it, a perfect day, a re-do of a 1972 rock song. I liked her version of "Wild horses" better than the original. And the Scottish scenery in Perfect Day is magnificant!

Cathy, are you now relaxing a bit after your big dinner ? Hope you are feeling ok, any new symptom ? Take care of yourself, Love Dad and Alice
Yes I am. It was good to have the leftovers! No I'm pretty much the same. I'll keep you updated, I see the GI on Thursday, but it's a consultation. I read that I shouldn't have much caffeine while on rilutek as it can cause the rilutek to build up in my system. I enjoy my morning cup so much and my liver is still ok. I would love to find out for sure if I have als to know if I should even be on Rilutek. Les and I are going to have to demand additional tests. I want to know 100 percent. How are you and Alice doing?
Love, Cathy
Cathy,
Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving and enjoying the leftovers and some rest. We were thinking of Les and hope he had a good birthday! You're right, so many people don't even have food or water or shelter, we have much to be thankful for. Susan Boyle does have a beautiful voice.
Hope you are staying rested and feeling good. We got a newsletter from the Portland ALS support group-sounds like they are active. We hope the doctors can tell you more.
We got almost a foot of snow on Mon. night maybe a little more coming today. Winter is here.
Love and prayers,
Mary D.
Hey just a passer by. But wanted to say thats a beautiful I've never heard any of Susan Boyle's music before. Thanks for sharing...
Cathy, please tell Les Happy Belated Birthday! We hope the card arrived on time. Who sang a perfect day before Boyle? Love, Greg
Yes the card got here, thanks Greg and Yvonne. Lou Reed wrote Perfect Day in 1972, I googled it.
Dad I get my endoscopy Dec 29th, she thinks it's more to do with muscle weakness but she will do it anyway. She would be the one to do a feeding tube if I want it or have to have one. My weights about the same.
Love, Cathy
Greg
I looked up Lou Reed. I had never heard of him. He was out of the
70's. I quess he had a bad herion habit. Sad
Greg, I looked up Lou Reed again sounds like he's still out there doing music
Dad,
what did they give you to "relax" during your endoscopy?
Cathy, they gave me a shot to put me out. It was painless. By the way, the Blazers need more than that to play better. They have looked pretty bad for the past few games. Love dad and Alice
That's probably what I'll get then, or something similar. Les's going to take me cause i can't drive home. I know the Blazers are in a bad slump, maybe it's time for a new coach? I don't know. Alicia wanted me to buy tickets for an upcoming game, but I don't want to go and watch them lose, not as expensive as the tickets are.
