Great song Cathy! I remember catching this on MTV or VH1 in the late 80's. I should have learned then and spent more time saying it loud and clear before mom passed away. Today is the first day of the rest of our life so it is never too late to appreciate those around us, especially family.

Yes, that is a good song. I remember listening to it on the radio all the time. Always trying to appreciate things but daily stress makes me stumble.
A few days after we got off the river trip, two of our good friends(from the trip) got bad news, one's father just died, the other one's mom had emergency quad bypass surgery. And their 10 yr old son is having cataract surgery this summer.
Life is difficult sometimes. That is why we have family and friends.
