Friends

Yesterday was Mom's Birthday. I still think of her often. I know that she loved the Lord and I'll see again someday. This is one of my favorite songs. It made me think of her.

I can't say I promised to keep it quiet till next week. Im having a hard time keeping weight on, better start drinking more ensure. Dr Stigler already has been bugging me about a peg feeding tube. I've held him offf since June. All total since Sept of 09 I've lost 15 pounds, not that bad but I need to keep what's left!

My prayers go out to the people of Japan affected by this huge earthquake

Cathy, 15 or 20 lbs lost seems like a lot for someone your size. We will leave here on the 22nd. Love DAD and Alice

Well since sept 09. Yeah thats the hardest thing is keeping weight on. I'm trying to eat, even eating more high calorie foods, some things are easier to eat than others. I have constant mucus which makes it even harder to eat, plus the muscles in my tongue and throat don't work very well.
Have fun in the sun!

Cathy,
I'm sorry to hear things are still difficult. Yes, you need to keep that weight on and gain some. Are there some good, healthy, calorie-dense foods that are easy to eat? Keep up the Ensure, too.
And, yes, lots of prayers to Japan. I can't even fathom what has happened there and what they are going through.
We are always thinking of you.
love and prayers,
Mary D.

And we think of Mom often, too. Would she be 76 this year? She had a beautiful laugh and smile. We laugh when we find ourselves at a restaurant, stretching our neck to see what someone else ordered and thinking, hmm, that looks good. Just like she used to do. She was a wonderful lady. You took great care of her.

I've prayed about it, and I pray for Ryan to find someone, too. I've known he was going to propose for about three weeks. He wanted to surprise her on the day they met one year ago. It's been driving me crazy knowing and wondering what she would say!

I feel like the wieners should be at their wedding! The four of them are always together and so much of who they are. Sean and Alicia dote on them!
