Saying Goodye

Last night we had to say goodbye to our companion of almost 18 years, Puff. We we're at the point where the best thing for her was to let her rest. She tired so hard to keep going. It's a strange feeling getting up this morning and she's gone. The Doxie puppy entered our lives about three weeks ago, after saying no more dogs we have nnother. These pics were taken a fews years ago when she was still healthy. Les took her up and had me stay home. He said they gave hera shot first and she went to sleep. I was having a hard time taking care of two dogs with my disease. We have lot's of pictures and good memories of her!

Puff was a great companion for you and your family for so long. I remember her running around your Sacramento St. house/back yard and those apple trees. Now it is time to work on the next companion and to cherish these times too. Love, Greg

Sounds good Cathy. I doubt I will check out blogyacht, whoever you are.
Hope you are off to a good day. It is snowing and cold here, so the kitties will sleep all day. Talk to you later, Alan. oh yeah should I shave my noggin for Greg?

cathy, Are you breathing better ? Today is the day Mom died 19 years ago and also Lois Donahue,s birthday. Love dad and Alice

It doesn't seem it could be that long ago. I didn't know today is Louis's birthday. I wish her a happy birthday. The bi pap helps me breath when I have it on, it inflates my lungs. I have to sit or lay down as the box is too big to carry.

Cathy, we are thinking of mom today. Can't believe it was 19 years ago either. It doesn't seem that long. I am sure was with us when we took Mom Donahue out for her birthday dinner tonight. Glad to hear you have the bi-pap and it is helping you breath. I hope it makes things easier.
love and prayers,
Mary D.

I know, I'm glad you had a good evening with your Mom. Les has decorated the house for me this year and put a real table top tree (puppy) up. I haven't done anything, sorry I just don't have the energy to go to the store and buy gifts. I hope people understand. Donated to Alan's ski to defeat ALS though. That's great of him to do that. I'll support Greg's stair climb, too. I feel bad that I haven't bought gifts. But I love you guys,
Cathy

Cathy, sounds like you have more of a problem with your ALS. Will call Les later on. Love Dad and Alice

Thanks Dad and Alice for the pets mart gift card! That was a good idea, our little guy is always needing something!
Love you, Cathy

I get out of breath easily. I'm going to have !es hook up the bipap at bed time and try it, I have to stay put, though. It's not a mobile device. Supposed to get a ct scan, the rheumatologist ordered it after she did a chest x-ray. Could be one or both causing this.
When are you headed to SD?

Cathy, don't worry at all about Christmas gifts. The best one we can get is that we are reading your messages here! We all have enough material stuff. I haven't put up any decorations either. By the time I get done with school, I'm behind on Christmas cards and we usually take off to the west. This job tires me out. I have 3 more finals and will be done by Friday. I'm thinking Alan should be there by now. Hope the bipap is helping and you are resting better.
love, prayers and a big hug!
Mary D.

Thanks Mary,
And thanks for giving Ryan the tent. Time for a little r&r for you. It was so good spending time with Alan. You're right, there isn't anything at the mall that I want. Les decorated the house and cut a small real table top tree(blaze). Time for his special neutering as he was humping Alan's leg and everything else, it'll calm him down, too. Sean wanted .us to wait but he doesn't live with him.
Take Care,
love you, Cathy

Cathy, glad you got a little Christmas tree. Hope Blaze is recovering. :-) I replied to your recent email but my school email has not been working and messages I send get delayed for days. Not sure what is going on. (JD and Alice--same thing with my email to you--I still don't think it has been sent by the server yet. Hope you arrived in SD safely. Call me when you get there. And so I can make sure I have the right cell phone# for you.)
I posted all my final grades today. My office is still a mess but I am going to focus on Christmas stuff. Sure wish we were all together. We'll be thinking of you. Cathy see you soon!
love you lots!
