Our last tourist thing was to ride in the Atlantis Submarine. Since I'm no swimmer this was how we saw the bottom of the ocean. It was something we'de never done. We saw Dolphins on the boat ride out to the Submarine. It's been a wonderful trip, I just love Maui and the people here. We've been 120 feet below sea level 10,020 feet above sea level. Hence the almost 1000 mi on our rental car!That's the magic of Maui.

Cathy, I am finally able to get back to my office and computer (not doing any work though) after being away to Iowa for Mom's 60th high school reunion and then on the Green and Yampa Rivers through Dinosaur Natl Monument. Loved seeing the pictures and hearing about all you did in Maui. It sounds like an amazing place.Great sunrises and sunset. And, yes, what is up with the boat?! The sub sounds fascinating! I am so glad you and Les went and I hope you can go back again soon. Maybe Portland will be sunny now. We got 4 inches of rain here in 2 days.

I can feel all the love and it means so much to me. I'm very blessed to have family and les and to have had such a nice trip. I hope the rest of your summer is restful. It is cold and damp here, too. Our garden is not doing well. We need some sun!~ Maybe this weekend.
