Thanks for sharing that, Cathy. It sure made me cry, too. What a sweet man. Do you think he has what you have since his speech seems to be going first? Why does ALS happen to such sweet people. It's not fair. It's okay to cry. Life has a lot of crappy stuff. And sad stuff. I guess it's all part of it. We can't have the happy without the sad. I am glad you could cry. Sometimes it makes us feel better. Hope you are breathing okay.

His speech is going but I'm not sure that was his first symptom. It looks like his arm has been affected, too. CBS did such a good job with that story. It's good to hear about the good in people instead of the bad. And to bring attention to ALS. Life isn't always fair. But good things come out of bad. His dying gave all his friends the chance to do kind acts. I'm using the bi pap at night and sometimes during the day. Hope all is well with you

I know and I appreciate all the love and support. I just thought it was neat that CBS did a story like that. So many stories that tell about the bad in people, not enough like that. I'm getting tired of the election news, it's 24-7! Sometimes I don't turn the tv on till evening. I hope Greg feels better, I've been praying for him.

Nice story Cathy. I think that Wallys' story and outlook has affimed my conclusion about the situation that you and Greg are in. I like to try to be optomistic. In order to see any good in what has happened I have to dwell on how it has created new friendships and solidified old ones with all of us. The other optomistic lesson for me is to try to keep what is important to me and mine at the forefront.
That is why I'll make a pizza tonite!
